How to Use

For the best results with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner, it is recommended to use it as part of your evening skincare routine:

1. Cleanse Your Skin Thoroughly

Start by washing your face with a suitable cleanser, then gently pat your skin dry before applying the toner.

2. Apply the Toner

Apply an appropriate amount to a cotton pad or your fingertips, then gently sweep it over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area and direct contact with the eyes.

3. Do Not Rinse

Leave the toner on the skin and allow it to absorb. It is designed as a leave-on formula and does not need to be rinsed off.

4. Continue Your Skincare Routine

Once the toner has been absorbed, continue with suitable skincare products and finish with a moisturizer.

5. Frequency of Use

Use no more than once daily, preferably in the evening. If your skin is new to exfoliating acids, it is best to introduce the product gradually and monitor how your skin responds.

Important Precautions

This product contains Glycolic Acid (AHA). It is not recommended for use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. Avoid the eye area and direct contact with the eyes. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

A patch test before use is recommended. Always apply sunscreen during the daytime, as AHAs may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun during use and for up to one week afterward.

Important: Avoid using this product in the same routine with retinoids, other direct acids, copper peptides, or direct/indirect Vitamin C, in accordance with The Ordinary’s product compatibility guidelines.
